Joining Stays and submitting an application to have you property listed on the platform is totally free. If your application is approved and you become an eligible host, there are optional promotions and perks that can be purchased. But no payment is required to have an account and benefit from the Stays platform.
Stays takes pride in being a trusted, curated source for the best vacation rentals nationwide. To ensure we are able to do this, we're only able to list vacation rentals that portray a superior experience to guest. Stays with great location, excellent views, rare amenities, aesthetic interiors, unique design and/or superb service are the priority. With all that being said, there is no "written in stone" criteria. It depends on the property! So, if you're interested in getting your rental listed, please join the waitlist and apply once we're live.
No, Stays does not receive or process bookings. Stays is a community platform, not a booking platform. Properties listed on Stays will have custom Listing Pages that will direct interested guests to the existing booking websites and webpages of your choice. Many hosts will prioritize sending viewers to their private booking website so they can pay less fees to third-party booking platforms and keep more of the money they earn from bookings. However, you still have the option to link your third-party booking links (i.e. Airbnb) if you'd like to still give that option to viewers.
The Stays team has spent years developing an organically-grown social media network of niche, localized accounts with audiences of real potential bookers. We are now able to use our Stays platform and our vast marketing network to help connect these eager interested bookers with the amazing vacation rentals listed with us. Stays operates in partnership with Greater Wave—a sophisticated marketing agency that owns and operates large, high-quality digital assets and social media outlets What does this mean for our users on Stays? It means we are able to leverage their resources, expertise, and network of social media outlets to amplify the marketing efforts and promotional services within Stays.
