Full use of the large garage in case you are bringing your outdoor sporting equipment. The home is built into the slope of the mountain to retain the earth’s natural thermal heat. The large windows face south to capture the southern sun exposure which heats the flooring. Powered blinds are in each window. The design allows the home to be sunny and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The home is made from timber-frame, post & beam construction with roughhewn cedar and glass exterior.
