Connect ChatGPT to your Stays account
The Stays connector links a ChatGPT conversation to your real Stays account, so ChatGPT can search stays, check your favorites and offers, and — if you're a host — help you review listings, promotions, and performance. It works the same way everywhere you use ChatGPT.
ChatGPT (web)
Connect from chatgpt.com in your browser — enable Developer Mode in Settings first.
ChatGPT Desktop
Works the same way in the ChatGPT desktop app on Mac and Windows.
Team & Enterprise workspaces
On Team and Enterprise plans, a workspace admin needs to enable Developer Mode before members can add connectors.
Connect in a few steps
Add the Stays connector once — ChatGPT remembers it for future conversations. A one-click Stays app in the ChatGPT app directory is planned; Developer Mode is the path today.
Step 01
Enable Developer Mode
In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Apps & Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on Developer Mode. Available on ChatGPT Pro, Team, Enterprise, and Edu plans; Team and Enterprise workspace admins must enable it in workspace settings first.
Step 02
Add a custom connector
Click "Add custom connector" and enter the server URL https://mcp.stays.co/mcp.
Step 03
Connect & sign in
Click Connect — you'll be sent to Stays to sign in with your Stays account.
Step 04
Approve the connection
Review and approve the connector on the Stays consent screen.
Step 05
Start chatting
You're connected — ask ChatGPT to find stays, check your favorites, or review your listings.
Built for travelers and hosts
The connector adapts to your account — every Stays user gets stay search, and hosts also get their listings, promotions, and performance.
Find stays by location, amenities, and price · See current deals and giveaways running across the Stays network · Check your saved favorites and recently viewed stays
Review your listings and their promotions · Check offers you've received and traveler feedback · Explore outlet pricing to plan your next promotion
Your account, your control
The connector is built on OAuth, the same standard used by password managers and other trusted integrations — ChatGPT never sees your Stays password.
You sign in, not ChatGPT
Access is authorized through your own Stays login on a Stays-hosted consent screen. ChatGPT only receives a limited, revocable access token — never your password.
Read-only by default
The connector can look things up but can't make changes, unless you're a Stays admin and explicitly enable write access on the consent screen.
Disconnect anytime
Remove the connector from ChatGPT's connector settings whenever you like — that immediately revokes its access to your Stays account.
Questions about the connector?
If something isn't working as expected, or you have feedback on what ChatGPT should be able to do with your Stays account, we'd love to hear from you.
